  •  What equipment do I need to join ? Depending on your goals ,the only equipment we require you to have initially is your own hand wraps.  Any other personal equipment can be purchased from “Fight and Fitness Training”.

  • HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO TRAINING ?  We only cater for people who are serious and want to commit to reaching their fitness and learning goals.Learning ANY martial Art can take years,but our programs are a FAST TRACK designed Training Syestem so we require you to commit to at least 3 sessions per week minimum which is carried out over 2 visits. If you can NOT commit then we can NOT help you,so please DO NOT CONTACT US  , as we would suggest maybe using any "public" OR commercial gym to help you reach your goals.

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY INTRODUCTORY SESSION AND  FREE CONSULTATION ? Once we have discussed matters,completed paperwork & decide what route is best for you, you may recieve a free fitness assessment which may involve taking body measurements etc. You need to bring a towel, water & any medication & also money for your first training session ( $45 to be paid on arrival). Due to our very busy schedule, payments will also be required on this day to secure any future bookings you may want. Due to hygiene ,safety & personal preference you are to bring your own hand wraps (or buy from us on the day from $15 ).

  • I don’t want to fight; can I still join and not get hurt? 
    Of course. Depending on your goals, you never have to fight. The classes can be designed so that you are primarily hitting and kicking pads that your partner holds or a heavy bag. If at a later date you would like to begin sparring, that is entirely up to you. Many people train for years and never opt to spar.

  • Does THE COMPLETE “UFS SELF DEFENCE & FIGHTING SYSTEMS” have a grading system? Like traditional western boxing & other martial arts & also due to the uniqueness of this m.m.a system there is no grading syllabus.The most important thing is finding that balance between knowledge and skills. As we are westerners we tend to learn better by following a structure and learning in chunks .With that in mind we have developed a system for students which provides practical & theory phases. Students must demonstrate competence in each “chunk” in a progressive manner,not by a belt grading system.  . . . If you don’t perform you fail to progress, simple as that.

  •  HOW DO I CONTACT Fight and Fitness Training ?
  • a.You will need to choose and provide the Exact Name of Training service/Program you want.(See "Training Options & Descriptions"  by clicking either link below)
  • b.You will need to provide information detailing if 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 etc is required. 
  • c. You will need to provide information detailing the amount of time you can commit to training i.e. 3 to 5 x per week for 3 months.
  • We only cater for people who are serious about learning or getting fit, and because we guarantee results for you,and our programs are a FAST TRACK training System, we require you commit to at least 3 sessions per week which is carried out over 2 visits.                                           

If you do not supply ALL the requested information or do not know EXACTLY what training and/or Service option you want then we will obviously be unable to help you ,so you will not receive a response from us.. .PLEASE READ THE WEBSITE !

  • WHO CAN JOIN THE CLUB ?The club is open to everyone, regardless of previous boxing experience, ability, fitness and gender. Most new members have little or no previous boxing experience. The important thing is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, work hard but most importantly enjoy!

  • Grading ? We have a Periodisation “Phase” system in place . Because our systems are so unique , it is not possible or required to have a traditional Grading System.We enable you to break up the path towards your goals into achievable chunks which allow us to see if you have understood the technical requirements for each “phase”. Phases are guaranteed to give you in-depth knowledge of technique, tactics and strategy to make you the best you can be. We try to make sure that you have all necessary practical aspects & in-depth knowledge of each phase before you progress to the next Phase of training.
